Intel® Compilers Overview: Scalable Performance for Intel® Processors

PERFORMANCE.

For developers there is no higher guiding principle. Without performance, almost every business benefit of an application or solution is unattainable. And a critical way to optimize performance is through the use of compilers. In this Essentials webinar, Intel’s Igor Vorobtsov unpacks the value of Intel® Compilers—C, C++, and Fortran—not only to your code’s performance, but also to your productivity and ability to scale your applications (can you say “more customers”?).

A wide range of optimization techniques and features are covered in detail, including:

  • Vectorization
  • High-level optimization
  • Profile-guided optimization
  • Inter-procedural optimization
  • Automatic parallelization
  • Optimization reports

Intel Compilers are included as part of Intel® Parallel Studio XE and Intel® System Studio, both of which can be tried and used for free.
