Carlos Rosales-Fernandez, Technical Consulting Engineer, Intel Corporation

Carlos is a Technical Consulting Engineer at Intel and has a background in High Performance Computing and fluid mechanics. Prior to joining Intel in 2017 he led the Performance and Architecture team within the HPC group at the Texas Advanced Computing Center (TACC), and participated in the deployment of several top-10 systems in the TOP500 list. Carlos has Bachelor of Science and Master of Philosophy in Physics degrees from the Universidad de Santiago de Compostela, Spain, and a Doctor of Philosophy degree from Cranfield University, Great Britain. His main interests are performance optimization and scalability, as well as the design of performance evaluation tools.
